Questions regarding Sufis and Kalima

AssalamuAlaikum,

In my notes I have that some Sufi groups, in their belief that "Allah is everything and everything is Allah", think that the missing part of the kalima (the part inferred by the subject "ilah" is "existance".

So now I'm guessing that they would translate the kalimah into "There is no diety worthy of existance except Allah"...but this is confusing me.

Can someone please explain this further?

JazakAllahuKhairan,
Sumiyyah

When you have the urge to do the bare minimum, always ask yourself, "Would the highest people of Jannah do this action?" "What did I do to really deserve Jannah for eternity?"

no worthy of....

their interpretation: There is no diety in exeistance except Allaah.

"worthy of" is what we say the missing khabar is: (bi haqq)

laa :there is no

ilaah : one that is worshipped

bi haqq : worthy of (that worship), rightful, deserving, in true right

illaa : except

Allaah: Allaah
