I think anyone taking the class should look at the table of contents of the first two volumes of fiqh-us-sunnah(each volume is around 200 pages) and read whatever interest him or her and take a little bit of notes on it. Then ask questions in class if it doesn't make sense. That would be the best way to approach this class. Also share the knowledge on this forum. I think it would be impossible for the ustad to cover everything in the two volumes in detail. So each qabilat could divide the two volumes up amongst their qabilat and share the reading.

This would make the class more interesting for the ustad to teach and for you to learn. Anyway this is utopian thought so it most likely won't happen. Allahu Alim
