Pick a slogan for Qabeelah Ansar.

Salaamualaikom, following are the slogans for our Qabeelah which were suggested by ppl on the forum.Now, we really need to pick one insh'allah.So all I need from everybody here is to post their choice in exact same words as
"I like number <slogan number> for Qabeelah Ansar."

So we wanted Qabeelat Ansar to be "socially active" in Ottawa's community (muslim and non-muslim). Have a mission statement that incorporates social work, social movement, etc. An example: create a city-wide initiative/program for orphans (muslim and nonmuslim). The sad thing is that a big portion of orphans are muslim and get adopted by non-muslim families....we're losing our youth this way. Another example: fundraisers for Ottawa foodbank....etc

The vision is to have Qabeelat Ansar to be known by muslims and non-muslims alike as a socially active group of people who are giving back to the community! Imagine the DA'WAH!!

So...if it is agreed that we can have that as our vision/mission....we'll have to come up with a slogan that incorporates that insha Allah."

I like number 16 for Qabeelah Ansar.

You could also just translate it:

Qabeelah Ansar/ The Helpers.

or

Qabeelah Ansar/ The Helpers of Allah

(check that, you ever hear them called that? I thought that for some reason)

Whatever you choose, masha'Allah name is nice

salam..so i'm not allowed to write an essay..but how about something a lil shorter..:P
k...unfortunately...i'm not gonna go with qabeelat ansar/the helpers thing BECAUSE...guys..on the front its going to say QABEELAT ANSAR..on the back it has to say a slogan...a mission...or something that we aim to do!!!
and i personally think that "the helpers" could be used as..ummm..lets say another name for ansar....so maybe on the back it should say something like...helping others yatty yatty yah..
for example: lending a helping hand.
but someone insulted me by saying that it sounded like a charity or soemthing!!!:P

that's why i vote for....ummm..well..16...

orrrrrrrrrrr..how about 19!!! with a lil twist to it!!! can't think of it right now..but i'm really likin it!!
and come to think of it even 21 sounds good!!!

The slogan: "Mission:Submission" is excellent mashaAllah. It's got a great ring to it

I am not sure if Qabeelat Ansar is planning to do this - Is it possible for the deadline to be extended to the 6th of March or later, so that this will allow the students who come on Friday's Usool class to have a say in the selection of the slogan. I think many people would want to be involved and perhaps some may feel leftout if there is a decision made. Wallaahu 'Alam.

I agree with 'Awn al-Ma'bood' Let as many people get a chance to vote. We all have to live with the slogan so let the process by as fair as possible. Many members of the Qabeelah haven't even been on the message board let alone know of the search for a slogan.

Can we try to postpone the naming of the Qabeelah until the end of this weekend's session?
