Rutgers-Newark Sisters Study Session

Assalaamu Alaikum.

For the last exam (TPA), the study session timings were Mondays and Wednesdays at 8:30AM and Wednesdays at 2:30PM up to the date of the exam. We can stick to this timing again in preparing for the ICE exam if it is still suitable for everyone. We will meet in Robeson 3rd floor to conduct the sessions. We found that it was good to do them in an open area like this b/c even those sisters who had not attended the class would sit in and benefit from the material.

If anyone would like to add on to this schedule or find that this is not suitable with their schedules, please feel free to offer different timings and insha'Allah we will re-arrange it.

The study sessions will begin next Monday, March 28.

Insha'Allah I hope a lot more of you can join us. This really helped me and Z prepare for the exam as well as just have an overall better understanding of the material for TPA.

If you're missing some of those EmanRush moments these sessions really bring them back w'Alhamdulilah. And please invite your friends who didn't get to take the class but might want a glimpse into what Al Maghrib is all about.

The duration of the study sessions go along with the Rutgers class schedules so that we can all make it to our classes.

Monday, Wednesday: 8:30AM - 10:00AM
Wednesday: 2:30PM - 4:00PM

I don't stay past 4 in college but some sisters might stick around and you could join them. For those sisters who want to stay after 4 please let us know asap.

I apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause anyone but the study session for tomorrow (Wednesday, March 30) at 8:30 AM will not take place. Insha'Allah we will still meet tomorrow at 2:30 PM in Robeson 3rd floor. Please remember to bring your binder, notes, and any other relevant books that will be of use in our session. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

I was reading through my notes today and I remembered that Ustaadh Muhammad said that after the seminar we should all create a "support group" to get close to Allah. Let's use these study sessions as a starting point to creating this group so that Insha'Allah we always help each other in getting closer to Allah and in improving ourselves.
