Re: Study Circles (FINAL EXAM)

nancy and maha, you didn't miss anything as of yet
(plz check your emails)
becasue monday was too short of a notice, we made some exceptions for this week,

one group of sisters is meeting on wednesday from 12:00-4:00 or 1:40-5:40 and

then to work on the essay question, we are meeting on thursday from 9:00-11:00 and then on friday we are meeting from 12:00-1:00 and then from 3:00-4:00 (this week due to classes its hard to meet straight for 4 hours for the 2nd day).

so you can come to the concordia musalla tomorrow, inshaAllah

and all those sisters who are finishing exams early, you can make a group as afifa suggested. we can very easily modify the 4 week plan to fit for this group.

we just have to keep in mind that we must finish studying by fifth week (week of May 2nd), because we have to write an inter-group quiz and then we also have to write a qabeelat quiz. asadis and ansaris should give their opinion on when to have this qabeelat quiz.
to accomodate the groups which are planning to study after their univ exams, we can have the inter group competition on fri, May 6th and the qabeelat quiz on mon May 9th (even if we decide not to have the qabeelat quiz I would like that we write a two hour fake exam before the real one)

Re: Study Circles (FINAL EXAM)

some sisters put together a list of all ayahs that we have to memorize. I'm posting it here so that every one can benefit from it. (these ayahs are for the material that we have to cover this week).

Re: Study Circles (FINAL EXAM)

assalamoalaikum
here are the ayahs for the material for second week. since there a lot of ayahs to memorize, I think if we memorize one from each point(some points have 3-4 ayahs), it should be ok. the same goes for the ayahs of the material of first week.

Re: Study Circles (FINAL EXAM)

here are the remaining ayahs

while we were studying we decided to choose some ayahs from some topics to memorize. we think that we'll not have a short answer question on topics which are covered in the essay questions. Also some other topics don't seem like very important to have a short ans.
so if we memorize the selected ayahs inshaAllah we'll be okay for the exam, then whoever wants to memorize more (which we all should but due to the time limit we can't right now), can do so also.

I'll inshaAllah post which ones we are memorizing, soon.
