AlMaghrib in MEMPHIS: Everyone's Sayin' Yyyyyeaaahhhh!!!!

As Salaamu Alaykum,

Now everyone in the Mid-South and the state of Tennessee is saying it!

Our apologies for the late post but with the shuyookh extending their stay here a few days, we stayed occupied walhamdulillah.

Masha'Allah the promo conference this past weekend was A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!

May Allah SWT Reward all those who worked hard and diligently for His Sake and all the participants!

So what should you know about this past weekend?

--Memphis' largest Islamic conference to date walhamdulillah! The community has only 15k-20k Muslims so that in itself illustrates the overwhelming desire for learning the Deen of Allah SWT!

--Memphis now holds the AMI record for the most class registrations (75+ to be more specific) DURING a promo walhamdulillah!

--The first time ever in AMI history that ALL the instructors (except 1) were in a promo TOGETHER, Masha'Allah what an honor!

--Now we are the FIRST city in the South to be Blessed with a qabeelah walhamdulillah!

And whoever missed out, we feel REAL bad for you!

The al-magrib conference from my perspective exceeded my intentions way more than I expected. They were able to capture the voices of da youth, and the prospective of many vital issues facing not only the youth but the mulim society as well. The conference encouraged me in wanting to participate in more events such as this and trying and make a differnce in our community as a whole. I hope too see my fellow memphians in the classes being offered this june by al-magrib, this year. AlMagrib is da krunkest!!!

Alhamdulillah, the AMI Conference was a success, May Allah accept Al Maghrib-TN's efforts and multiply them many times over with many successful classes and students, ameen!

It was really a delight to meet our sisters from our neighboring cities...we hope to see you in june, september and more insha'Allah!

Masha'Allah I'm hearing sisters plan out their whole year in Memphis for Al Maghrib-TN classes .....over 75 registrants for June Insha'Allah and so many who couldn't keep wondering why they couldn't get registered for September as well insha'Allah......YYYYYYEAAAAHHHHHH MEMPHIS!!!!!!! :-D

May Allah reward all the volunteers and particpants to make the AMI event in Memphis a smashing success!! This was a weekend Memphis will never forget In Sha Allah. I see the Liwaa' heading south for the winter bi idhnillah!!

SubhanAllah, this conference exceeded all my expectations of Al Maghrib and the instructors.

There was a point during the session where I had goose bumps on TOP of goosebumps, and a perpetual chill down my spine. It was in the essence of the word :an EMANRUSH!!

I was taken aback by the humility and the humor of the shuyookh. MashaAllah! We are truly blessed to have such knowledgeable shuyookh and at the same time they are accessible, human and real. They can reach out the derailed youth, and the older generation alike.

Alhamdulillah... Memphis is definately going to be the best Qabeelah ever!!(inshaAllah)

We should also say a big Jazzakumallahu khayran to our shuyookh who travelled far and wide to join us this weekend.

Masha'Allah it was a blessing to meet, spend time, and host all of you here.

May Allah SWT Preserve all of you and continue to Allow you to benefit the Muslim ummah for many years to come Insha'Allah.

May Allah reward all the shuyookh immensely for giving us the opportunity to benefit from them, ameen.

My sister came to the conference with me and it helped open her heart towards Islam. The shuyokh accomplished in one weekend, what I have been trying to do for the past six years. The beauty of Islam never ceases to amaze. May Allah bless them all, ameeeen!!
